In the section "study" the countries Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland are examined under the three aspects study, financing and organization. Till 2010, this section will be expanded to all 27 member states of the EU.

The section informs about the national study systems, the different types of higher education institutions and degrees. We describe the application process and the language requirements, which are especially important to international students. Furthermore, you will find information on study fees, living costs and the possibilities to finance your studies. In order to support future students when it comes to finding the right HEI, we offer a new university and course search by subjects.

We divided all study courses and programs in clear groups and subjects, so that no one loses track in these chaotic times of the Bologna process and permanent change. With this new search you can find the higher education institution that offers the subjects of your dreams.

Growing up in one city, studying in another one and working in a third one is nothing extraordinary for the young generation of Europe. In order to further this mobility, EFORS.eu presents 28 European university cities with information on the educational institutions as well as on the leisure and cultural activities.

The user can find an overview of all universities, colleges and other institutions that are related to education, for example dorms, libraries and language schools. But we also present the nightlife and cultural scene with clubs, bars, museums and theaters. In every section, the spots are presented individually. Every spot has an individual profile with the most important information, data, pictures and a Google map.
The urban life section helps the students to find their way around a new city or fall newly in love with the old one.

Our news section links student and independent media in Europe and offers young journalists a platform to publish their texts. That way, the student news won't stay at local borders, but they will be heard in the whole of Europe through EFORS.eu. In our news section we have cartoons from Denmark, video news from Spain and articles about student life, politics, society and culture from media partners from 9 European countries.

In the daily pres review, the editorial staff examines the European media and puts together the most interesting news concerning the European Higher Education Area. For your own research we provide a European news ticker. Arranged by countries and topics it enables to have an overview on the latest news and headlines of the most important national media and HEIs.
